🥺 Pleading Face has oversized glossy eyes and a small frown. It is used to ask for something, to apologise charmingly, or to react to something adorable.

Since around 2019 it has been one of the fastest-growing emojis in everyday use, largely because it works for both asking and being moved.

Effective for soft requests. Overused it reads as manipulative, which is part of the joke when friends use it on each other.
